Lakeland College (90) held a meeting, by dispensation, on 1^st August 2025 at the Masonic hall, in the picturesque market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. To admit two new aspirants to the grade of Zelator for Millennium College (67).  A number of Millennium members had braved the Holiday season Friday M6 traffic to offer support to their new Fraters, Fra. Kieran Taylor-Bradshaw & Fra. Stuart Macfarlane.

Lakeland College celebrant, VWy. Fra James Malcolm VII⁰ conducted the ceremony assisted by the Junior Substitute Magus (E&W) RWt. Fra Paul Phillips IX^0, who was visiting.  The Chief Adept of NW counties RWy Fra Douglas C Slimming VIII^o & 9^o also assisted. An admirable, from memory, presentation of the Numbers lecture was given by the Lakeland 3^rd Ancient VWt. Fra. David Gill V⁰ to much appreciation from the assembled Fraters.

After the festive board, an excellent seasonal buffet, Fra. Archie Niven Z. delivered a paper on the Rose Croix which led to a discussion on the link between SRIA and the Rose Croix. All who attended agreed it had been a very good evening.

At the June 2025 meeting of Woodman College No.6, Fratres Morgan, Patterson and Jones were advance to the grade of Theoricus.

The meeting was attended by a number of High Council members, including Fra. Derek Bain, the Chief Adept and Fra. Michael Barr, the Suffragan of North Eastern Counties, Fra. Stephen Clark, the Secretary-General and Fra. Paul Phillips, the Junior Substitute Magus (England & Wales).

On Thursday, 26th June 2025, Millennium College No. 67, within the Province of North West Counties, celebrated its 25th Anniversary, marking a significant milestone since its establishment in May 2000, in honour of the new millennium.

The evening featured an impeccably delivered 4th Grade ceremony by Fra. Andy Sharp, alongside the expert installation of Fra. Mark Hillyard into the Chair by Fra. Stephen White, the Suffragan of the North West Counties. Fra. Mark, originally a founding Zelator of the Millennium College, now proudly occupies the Chair 25 years later.

Following the formal proceedings, attendees enjoyed a fantastic presentation by Fra. John Duckworth, another founding member. Fra. John shared fascinating insights into the origins and formation of Millennium College, providing a thorough and warmly received conclusion to a memorable evening.

On June the 17th 2025, at a meeting of Middlesbrough College No.77, Fra. David Roach was advanced to the 4th Grade of the Society.

Following the ceremony, Fra. Derek Bain, Chief Adept of the North Eastern Counties, delivered a talk prepared by Fra. Ken Bearpark, the Provincial Director of Studies. The presentation offered a detailed exploration of the 1st Grade certificate, revealing its deeper symbolism and its connections to the very foundations of the Order, far more than might first be assumed.

The 8th of October 2024 meeting of John Dee College No. 23 in the Province of the East Midlands saw V. W. Fra. Pat O’Connor being proclaimed for a second year as Celebrant in the presence of Chief Adept Bob Miller, Suffragan Dennis Jolly and Provincial and College Officers.

In a celebratory gathering at Wyrebank, Garstang, our esteemed Frater David K. Rhodes was honoured with a prestigious 50-year certificate by the Supreme Magus, Tony Llewellyn. This significant event, held on the 12th of April 2024, marked half a century of dedicated service by Frater Rhodes to the Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia (SRIA). The ceremony took place in the North West Counties Province, where fellow members and guests witnessed this momentous occasion.

The presentation underscored a legacy of commitment and scholarly pursuit within the esoteric traditions of the SRIA. Frater Rhodes’ unwavering dedication over the decades serves as an inspiring example to all members of the society.

During today’s Provincial Meeting of Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia (SRIA), The Provincial Grand Master (Craft), R.W.Bro. D. Gerald Rowbottom, was honored as a guest of The Chief Adept, R.W. Fra. Bob Tanswell . The gathering was graced by the presence of the Supreme Magus, M.W. Fra. Tony Llewellyn and esteemed brethren including The Grand Master of Knights Templar, Most Eminent and Supreme Knight, Paul Raymond Clement, R.W.Bro James Ross, Provincial Grand Master of West Wales, and W.Bro. Michael Eckley AProvGM of West Wales, Very Illustrious Brother and Inspector General of Dyfed. The event marked a momentous occasion of camaraderie and collaboration within the fraternity.

On the 15th July 2023 at 2:15pm (UK) the Metropolitan Study Group is to receive a presentation concerning ‘Spiritual Astrology and the English Qaballa’ from Cath Thompson and Barry Down, two of England’s leading Astrologers and spiritual thinkers.

The event will be chaired by Fr. Cheyne Towers, with Fr. Alex Rofaila hosting those able to attend in-person at the Atlantis Bookshop in London.

The Chief Adept then conferred 5 Fratres to the 5th Grade in the second Order.

And finally …….at the College meeting a 4th Grade ceremony was undertaken. The Chief Adept then proclaimed V W Fra Warren Jones, Prov Sec, as Celebrant for the second year, following the need to let Fratres catch up through the Grades. There were visiting Fratres from all Colleges in the Province , the  evening ended following a fish and chip supper and everyone seemed to have a great evening.
